Always a Comma, Till the Last Full Stop.

You know how we hear that the only constant thing is change? While that is true, I’ve heard it so many times that it doesn’t feel personal anymore so here’s what I tell myself — “the comma will always be available till the last of my days” and this gives me the elasticity to embrace change.

You don’t have to stay tied to a career path that seems unfair to you in terms of growth or success, you don’t have to remain in friendship groups that leave a sour taste in your mouth, you don’t have to settle when the rise of the tides remain available to you.

More than anything else, I’m writing this to emphasize the place for stretching when we’re dealing with ourselves. To treat our mistakes, inconsiderations and shortcomings with an even better response to improve without burying in regrets. This process as I think of it is meeting versions of yourself where they’re at and growing altogether.

Without getting confused, just come through. With forgiveness, just bloom.

It’s the circle of life that there’ll be misses but you’ll also get it right which counts for something. A few things would go unforgiven, more things will fade, but we’ll reach the attainable balance. Forgive yourself for the friendships you failed at, for the relationships that failed you, for family oscillating between pure love and annoyance.

The longer you are at a space that doesn’t serve you, the longer you postpone the magic of beginnings. It’s always a comma till the last full stop.
